Women of influence: Carol Nelson Shepherd

A founding partner of Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter & Tanner, Shepherd has been a persuasive voice for victims’ rights both in the courtroom and in the legislature. This med-mal plaintiff’s attorney became the first female president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association in 1987 and president of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association in 1997. She is currently co-chair of the PBA’s women in the profession committee.
